Commitment

What does it mean to commit yourself to your career, your craft and to your dreams. Definition: “to devote oneself unreservedly.”  So now the question is what is “unreservedly”? It is to put every single ounce of focus and intensity into making it happen. You see, if you don’t give it all you’ve got, then you’re just wasting your time. If you have limits on how far and how much you are willing to do, you probably are not 100% committed. That is why so many relationships fail. They don’t really want it, not 100%. That is why SOME people never reach happiness, deep down inside, in a strange way, they really like being miserable.

Let me know what you think. leave a comment here and on my wall.

  1. Yes, I hate to do things half-a$$edly. Wholeheartedly is more my style, and sounds like it’s yours too. I find that if I put my whole heart into something, it may not turn out the way I wanted, but it will result in something good, no matter what. The universe responds to sincerity.

  2. I agree completely! If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again (English Proverb).

Courage is feeling scared and doing it anyway. Relationships can be very scary, bringing up all our fear and pain from not feeling loved as a child for whatever reason. We have to be willing to go stand in the fire and burn for Love. ~that’s been my experience, but maybe it’s because I’m an artist and feel a lot of passion for life.
